Set a recognizable store name and address, choose a layout suited to your products, add clear product information and files, then review the storefront and buyer access instructions. Publishing and marketplace visibility are separate decisions.
Choose a name and address you can keep
Use a store name your audience already recognizes, or one that clearly identifies the work you make. A short address is easier to share in a profile, email or printed handout. Read it aloud and check for confusing spelling before saving it.
Createpie hosts stores on a createpie.store subdomain. Your seller dashboard is private; your storefront address is what buyers visit. Keep those roles clear when you write launch emails or send someone a link.
Choose the layout around the collection
A cover-led collection needs enough space for images. A set of research resources needs titles and descriptions people can scan. Createpie includes ten layouts, from Studio’s visual gallery to Index’s compact directory and Bookshelf’s upright covers. Pick the structure before adjusting the details.
All ten templates support light, dark and system themes. You can change templates without rebuilding the product list. Try a longer title and a short description in the preview; attractive empty layouts are not enough to judge how your actual content will fit.
Add the information a new visitor needs
Upload your logo and banner, choose the image fit and focal position, and write a short introduction. State who the store is for and what they will find. Use the About section when your experience or approach helps a buyer decide.
Arrange the available sections in a useful order. Keep products easy to reach. Add a short FAQ for specific questions such as software requirements or how purchase access works. Avoid filling the FAQ with repeated promotional claims.
- A legible logo at small sizes
- A banner crop that works on phones
- A sentence describing the collection
- An About section and FAQ when they add useful information
Check the product before the page
For every product, add a descriptive title, cover, price, contents and protected files. Explain which files stay in the app and which buyers may download. A template that needs editing elsewhere should not be described as an in-app-only reading product.
Review the product’s validation and publishing state in the dashboard. A saved draft is not the same as a product ready for buyers. Check current store access and payment availability there too; creating an account alone does not establish every payment or publishing capability.
Choose visibility and review the buyer journey
Marketplace discovery is opt-in. Enable it only when you want an eligible active store to appear in Createpie discovery. Leaving it off lets you share the direct storefront address without a marketplace listing. Confirm the saved visibility state after changing it.
Open the storefront while signed out, review it on a phone, and check the path from a product to the cart. Tell buyers that verified purchases lead to an access email and their Createpie app library. Include a way to reach support when an access email cannot be found.
Common questions
Can I change my storefront template later?
Yes. Templates change the presentation of the store; the product list and supported website content remain available. Review the new layout and save it from the Website builder.
Can I customize the template without adding code?
The Website builder provides structured controls for template, theme, section order, logo and banner presentation, About text, FAQ and footer text. It does not require custom HTML or scripts.
