A digital product launch checklist you can actually finish

Review the files, product page, storefront, checkout, access email and support instructions before you share a new digital product.

Before launch, verify the file itself, the description and price, the storefront on a phone, the available checkout, and the path from a confirmed payment to the buyer library. Then share one clear product link and keep support instructions close.

Finish the package you are promising

Create a final release folder and compare it with the product description. Remove working files that do not belong in the purchase. A clear “start here” file helps buyers who open the package days after buying.

Test with the software or app a buyer will use, not just your own editing tool. Check fonts, links, audio levels and document page order where they apply. Confirm that any third-party fonts, photographs or example data can be distributed in the way you intend.

  • Final files open correctly on another device
  • File names describe their contents
  • The included files match the product page
  • Instructions explain where to start

Review the page as a first-time buyer

Read the title and first paragraph without the context you already have as the creator. They should tell someone what the product is, who it is for and what is included. Distinguish included materials from decorative mockups.

Check the price, license, required software and delivery permissions. If buyers need the Createpie app to read protected content, say so before checkout. Avoid launch claims based on invented reviews, sales counts or urgency.

  • Title and preview match the delivered product
  • Software and device requirements are visible
  • Download or in-app permissions are explained
  • Price and usage terms are clear

Review the store on a narrow screen

Check the logo, banner crop, long product titles and reading order on a phone. Follow links instead of assuming they point where you expect. Open the store while signed out so you see what a visitor sees.

Confirm the saved publishing state and payment readiness in the dashboard. Decide whether to enable marketplace discovery or share only the direct link. A draft visibility choice should not appear in your launch message until it has been saved.

Follow the complete access journey

Check the cart contents before checkout and make sure the selected product is the one you meant to test. Use only the payment methods currently available to that checkout. A real paid test requires a deliberate payment; do not confuse a sample preview with a completed purchase.

After payment confirmation, verify the access email and sign-in instructions. Use the Createpie username and password from that email in the app and open the product from the library. If a payment remains pending, check the original attempt before starting another one.

  • Correct product selected in the cart
  • Checkout availability and amount reviewed
  • Verified purchase produces the expected access instructions
  • The product opens from the buyer library

Share one useful link and stay available

Choose either the product page or the store collection as the main launch link. Explain the result the product helps with and show a useful preview. Send people to the same destination so questions and feedback are easier to follow.

Keep a brief support response ready for missing emails, incorrect sign-in details and software requirements. Record the recurring questions and update the page. That is a better next step than immediately adding another product to an unclear buying experience.

Common questions

What should I check first before launching?

Open the final files and compare their contents with the product page. A polished storefront cannot make up for missing files or unclear instructions.

Is a sample checkout proof that payments work?

No. A sample preview demonstrates the flow. A real purchase requires an available payment method, verified payment and the expected buyer-library access.
